Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Bidside Chrome extension and related services, operated by Bidside (ABN 25 623 741 334). By installing or using Bidside, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Bidside does

Bidside is an AI-powered tool that produces independent buyer's briefs for Australian residential property listings. It reads publicly available data from property listing pages and uses third-party AI and data providers to generate analysis covering fair value, risk flags, location, and negotiation strategy.

2. Not financial advice

Bidside is for informational purposes only. Briefs do not constitute financial product advice, legal advice, building advice, or a property valuation. They are not personal advice and do not take into account your individual circumstances or objectives. Before making any property purchase decision, obtain independent professional advice from a licensed buyer's agent, valuer, conveyancer, building inspector, and/or financial advisor as appropriate.

Bidside does not warrant that any specific property is a good or bad purchase. Property valuations and risk assessments inherently involve uncertainty, and figures generated by Bidside are estimates based on the data available to us at the time.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Bidside. You must provide accurate registration information.

4. Pricing, billing, and refunds

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Intellectual property

Bidside, including its name, logo, and software, is owned by Bidside. Briefs you generate are for your personal use; you may share them privately but may not repackage them as a commercial product.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidside's total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of Bidside is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $200, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including any property purchase decision made in reliance on a brief. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Bidside at any time and request account deletion via the contact email. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
